The popular annual Printmakers’ Exhibition is now in it’s sixth year. Featuring Printmakers from Will Dyke Workshops in Chichester and invited printmakers from West Dean College. Showcasing original handmade prints created in traditional print mediums including woodcut, linocut, engraving, screen-print, etching, drypoint, mono-print, litho, and collograph.
The Chichester Observer commented that ‘the sheer range of work on display’ is one of the shows great delights’.
With over a hundred framed prints on display, with many more to see in the print browsers, this is always a great opportunity to buy framed and unframed original limited edition prints. The exhibition is organised by Will and Nicki Dyke.
Will Dyke is a professional artist and tutor from Chichester in West Sussex. He has a degree in Illustration from Harrow College in London, specialising in printmaking. Much of his artwork is inspired by rural life and history, and the landscape of the Weald and Downland. Will’s practice in Woodcut and Linocut printing is particularly sympathetic to this traditional subject matter. He prints with an old Cropper Charlton press and a cast iron book press, and also by hand. Will teaches regular print workshops in Chichester, find out more at www.willdyke-printmaking.co.uk or phone 07786 270649.
