A celebration of the life and work of Chichester painter Ken Walch.
A prolific an passionate painter, Ken’s style was lively and vibrant and his subjects many and varied.
He began his art training in 1952 when he enrolled at Melbourne National Gallery Art School under the tutelage of Murray Griffin.
On returning to England, he continued at St. Martin’s School of Art, London. He worked for many years in adult education both in Richmond and West Sussex.
A Chichester resident for over 30 years he regularly exhibited at the Oxmarket.
He died last November aged 90 with many art works still in progress.
